Here’s a letter to the editor in the local newspaper which we thought was worth a mention! After receiving a Christmas hamper delivered to this person’s door, they wrote:
“Thanks you to members of the Door of Hope for their fantastic assistance in the community, particularly the many who volunteer their time week after week in aid of less fortunate families. Hundreds of these families have received hampers and bread deliveries over the years, packed and delivered by these generous people, all in their own time.”
All we can say to this, is that it was all worth it. And still is!
