What is the point of life?
What happens when we die?
Is forgiveness possible?
What relevance does Jesus have for our lives today?
Are these your questions? Do people around you have these questions? How would you and your friends like to come around, over a cuppa, discuss these and explore the big questions of life?
The Alpha Course, which runs over 8 weeks, is a practical introduction to Christianity. Each session includes a meal, a short talk and a small group discussion where anything can be discussed and explored; where everyone’s view is respected.
Anyone is welcome – whether you’ve been in church for a long time, looking to reaffirm your faith or intending to explore what it’s all about (with or without any church background at all). There is no expectation and no strings attached. Just come as you are and decide for yourself what you want to do next. We would love to have you.
There is no cost to joining the course. However, a small contribution to the meals is welcome.
Two course times will be on offer for you to choose from: Tuesday morning 10:00-11:30am (childcare provided) or Friday evening 7:30-9:30 (dinner provided).
Feel free to contact us at alpha@door-of-hope.org or fill in the form below with any questions you may have. You may also want to click here to find out course dates or download the brochure from our resources page.
