Life-solutions are courses designed to offer you the chance to build better self-esteem, enhance relationships, find hope and explore spirituality through insightful teaching in a supportive and confidential small group atmosphere, with trained group facilitators.

The heart of life-solutions is the small group; a place of privacy, confidentiality, honesty and care. Every evening before the small group time, participants hear excellent teaching that gives insights into what people need to recover and succeed in life.

Courses offered in 2011:

Door of Hope

An encouraging and supportive program for women survivors of sexual abuse. In an environment of love, acceptance and confidentiality, participants will begin to develop new strategies for living, and find healing from the struggles of life. Sessions help participants understand what abuse is, why they feel powerless and betrayed, and what they can do to get the help they need to recover.

Valiant Man

Developing and maintaining a healthy sexuality is every man’s battle. Valiant Man is about male sexual discipleship. This 10-session program with study and devotional guide is designed to fortify and restore the moral and spiritual integrity of men. Valiant Man challenges all men to fight for their own personal, moral and spiritual vitality and help other men fight for theirs.

Woman to Woman

Woman to Woman is designed to give insight into family dynamics. The program explores the dynamics of relationships and describes the attributes of healthy and unhealthy families. The elements needed to produce healthy and fulfilling relationships are taught in the course. The small group provides an environment in which healthy relationships are modelled and rehearsed.

Man to Man

Men are designed for action, excitement and success, yet all too often they find themselves bored, empty and lonely. Today’ man is a product of his past. This program explores past and present relationships and examines the effects of family background on the way men think, feel and behave. Participants will gain personal insight, support from other men and skills for living life more successfully.

Facilitator Training

Pastoral and leadership training course of proven quality. The training will give you a clear understanding of how people tick, why people struggle and how help and healing come. Learn how to build strength in four critical areas: how to train you mind to overcome difficulties; how to be strong spiritually; how to be strong emotionally; how to establish good behaviour patterns. Skills learnt are applicable in all relationships and in small good settings.

Kids with Courage

A program to strengthen primary aged children who are struggling at school, home or with peer relationships. The program builds on the child’s strenths and develops emotional resilience. In a supportive and fun atmosphere children will explore feelings, set goals and find positive ways of solving problems and making changes.

Parents with Courage

A seven session program that provides parents with greater self-understanding as well as enhanced skills for parenting. This program is for families with older primary and high school aged children. The sessions are highly practical with insight and strategies for intact, blended and single parent families.
