What are Door of Hope services all about?

Our Sunday services are fresh, genuine and inspiring.  We strongly believe in the power of coming together as a group of people with a common goal to connect with one another and with God, through love, grace and acceptance.  We enjoy doing life with a varied group of people from a wide range of backgrounds and nationalities, of all generations.

These services include the use of creativity with music, lighting, dance, drama and multimedia coupled with life-changing messages of hope, forgiveness, transformation and inspiration to grow.  We teach from the Bible in plain, understandable language because we know its message is important for all.

Maybe you’ve never been to a church service or haven’t been in a long time.  We would like to offer you an invitation to attend a service without the fear of being judged or frowned upon.  Feel free to read some commonly asked questions about our services at Door of Hope.  If you have any further questions then please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our church office staff during the week or any of our hosts or leaders on Sundays.

When are the services?
Door of Hope holds two services, one at 10am and another at 5pm every Sunday.  The morning service is suited to all ages, including families while the evening one draws youth and young adults.

How long do your services go for?
Our services usually go for 90 minutes.  There are occasions where we run a little longer but this only happens a handful of times as we value people’s time.

Are there any activities for my children?
Yes there are.  We run a supervised, fun and interactive kids program which runs for the full length of the service, for children ages 2 to 12.

Do you have services on long weekends?
Yes, services are always held on Sundays regardless of public holidays.  On special occasions service times will change to accommodate our involvement or support of other community events.

Do I have to pay for parking?
Parking is always free.  Multiple parking options are available on site.  Street parking is also available.

Do I have to pay to get in?
No.  As a church we celebrate the freedom of being able to meet as a church community and expect nothing less than to extend the same privilege to our guests.

This is not to be confused with our belief of bringing our tithes and offerings as part of our commitment to God and to the vision of Door of Hope.  Those who call this church their home choose to give of their time, energy, resources, including finances, as the Bible teaches us.

Will I be signed up for anything I don’t want to be a part of?
Absolutely not.  During our services we encourage those who would like to find out more about our church or need someone to contact them to fill out our “friendship pad”.  This is completely optional.
