Journey to Hope is a course designed to meet the needs of hurting people in today’s society. Through a system of small support groups participants are able to share together in an environment of unconditional love, acceptance and confidentiality – all ingredients necessary for recovery.
This ten-week course will offer participants the chance to build better self-esteem, enhance relationships, find hope and explore spirituality. These courses are divided into three strands: “Search for Life”, “Door of Hope” and “Youth Search for Life”.

In an environment of love, acceptance and confidentiality, participants will begin to develop new strategies for living, and find healing from the struggles of life. Sessions focus on What is Abuse, Shame and Gilt, Contempt, Powerlessness and Betrayal, Ambivalence, Defence Mechanisms and Survival, the Way Through, Aspects of Love.
Youth Search For Life
‘What do I have to do to be loved, accepted and valued around here?’ is a question lurking in the heart of every young person. How it is answered affects everything. This program shows how to handle peer pressure, stay healthy in the game of life, manage negative behaviour and to think and identify spiritual keys for healthy self-esteem. The course uses a strengths-based approach with small group interaction and support. A must for every young person who is serious about being the best they were created to be. |
